Some Of The Best Songs From The Greatest Showman

There was certainly a lot of hype around The Greatest Showman before it was released into cinema, with a stellar cast like Hugh Jackman, Zac Efron and Zendaya, it is easy to see why. But fans absolutely loved this movie and all the tracks that came with it. The soundtrack to The Greatest Showman was sitting high up on the charts for weeks after the film was released.

The film is so loved that other artists started covering some of the songs. It is a great feel-good, family movie, which you can’t really go wrong with. All of the songs in The Greatest Showman help make the film what it is today. The soundtrack even went double platinum in the United States, and quadruple platinum in the United Kingdom.

There are quite a few songs in The Greatest Showman; completely understandable considering it is a musical. But not all songs were created equally, and there are a few that certainly stand out from the rest. Have a read on below at some of the best songs from this musical film:

The Greatest Show

The title song needed to be included in this list. The song is so happy and light it makes everyone want to get up out of their chair and start dancing. The song starts slow and quiet, and then quickly explodes to include majority of the cast singing and dancing, it is a feast for the ears and the eyes, and you don’t really know where to look.

This Is Me

Probably the most iconic and recognisable song from the entire movie, this was the song that completely dominated the charts right around the world. The song is so beautiful because it talks about empowerment, no matter who you are or what you look like. It is completely uplifting and although it didn’t end up winning an Oscar, many believed that it should have.

Rewrite the Stars

This was the love song sung by Zac Efron and Zendaya. The lyrics and music is perfect for the pair in this song, but it is the acrobatics that is certainly worth watching (or re-watching). The song really gets into its groove in the chorus and it is everything that fans hoped and thought it would be. This song really delivers.

From Now On

Hugh Jackman starts singing this song alone, but the cast comes in during the second half and that’s when this song is really taken to the next level. This song is exciting and it fits perfectly within this film. It’s a really catchy tune and that’s why it should be including on this list. The cast really helps elevate this song and it is a heart-warming piece of music.

The Other Side

The scene to this song is just so light and bubbly that it makes the song itself even better. This is the song where Hugh Jackman’s character tried to get Zac Efron’s character to join him in creating a circus-like show. It is one of the film’s catchiest songs and fans love to listen to this track on repeat. If you haven’t seen the film in a while (or at all) go watch this scene, it is a fast-paced blast of a time.

Never Enough

There are certainly a lot of great songs in this film, and actors with amazing voices, but one of the best has to go to Loren Allred. Her song of Never Enough is brilliant and enough to give each and every member of the audience goosebumps.
